Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 June 2026 · play.mineraid.net
This policy explains what information MineRaid ("we", "us") collects when you connect to the game server play.mineraid.net or visit this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By playing on the network or using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Minecraft account data. Your username and UUID, which the game client sends when you connect.
- Connection data. Your IP address and approximate region, used for security, anti-cheat, and to enforce bans.
- Gameplay data. Stats, progression, purchases, punishments, and in-game activity tied to your account.
- Discord data. If you link your Discord account, your Discord ID and username so we can grant roles and verify staff applicants.
- Website data. Basic analytics such as pages viewed and device type. We do not use the site to track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To run the server, save your progress, and deliver purchases.
- To detect cheating, abuse, and ban evasion, and to keep the network fair.
- To provide support, manage staff applications, and respond to reports.
- To improve the gamemode and plan future seasons.
Third parties
We share the minimum data needed with services that help us operate, including Mojang and Microsoft for account authentication, our hosting provider, our payment processor for store purchases, and Discord for community features. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Purchases
All purchases are cosmetic or quality-of-life and are processed by a third-party store. We receive a record of the transaction and the item granted, not your full card details. Refunds follow the store policy shown at checkout.
Data retention
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security and moderation. Ban and punishment records may be kept longer to protect the community.
Children
MineRaid is a community space. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please use the server with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us personal data without consent, contact us in the Discord and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete the personal data tied to your account, unlink your Discord, or opt out of non-essential communications. To make a request, open a ticket in our Discord.
Changes
We may update this policy as the network grows. Material changes will be announced in the Discord. Continued play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be raised in the MineRaid Discord. Developers who want to build for MineRaid can reach @beachway on Discord.
